THE ARTISTS

Stacy Healy's passion for paint began by the time she was 5 years old. She would like to thank her parents for providing her with weekly private art lessons from the age of five through High School. In High School, Stacy had the opportunity to continue studying Art, Drawing and Photography though a special program offering high school and college credits. Stacy furthered her career in the arts by attending Syracuse University where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Here she had the opportunity to study art, drawing, illustration art, advertising, packaging design and photography. Stacy enhanced her education with the unique experience of studying abroad in Florence Italy. In Italy, Stacy had the opportunity to study the works of many famous European artists and see first hand the exquisite paintings and architecture that inspire the world today. She uses this experience constantly in visualizing and creating new looks for her customers. After graduating from Syracuse University, Stacy was hired as an assistant photographer and set designer/stylist for a large retail in house advertising agency. It was at this job that Stacy began painting backdrops and walls for room sets and bedding ads. Her work was published weekly for 4 years. Stacy left the agency in 1990 to start her company, Wall Décor, Inc.
